Office: Rep. Moss
Description: The office of State Representative Jeremy Moss of the 35th District is currently looking to fill an internship position. An intern would be expected to provide assistance to the Representative and members of his staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, general office management and miscellaneous tasks. Some responsibilities will include answering phones, monitoring legislation, research and written correspondence to groups and individuals within House District 35. Students will gain valuable hands-on office experience in a fast-paced environment. Hours are negotiable. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Salary Range: This is an unpaid position, but college credit is possible. (See your school’s Internship Coordinator or Academic Advisor.)
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be a student, veteran, or participant in job entry program. Strong applicants will have a positive attitude, previous office experience including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, telephone skills, and writing skills. Knowledge of the Legislature is desired but not required. Applicants should have a writing sample and references available upon request.
