| General Description | ||
The office of State Representative Sarah Roberts is currently looking to fill several internship positions. Interns would be expected to provide assistance to Representative Sarah Roberts and members of her staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, general office management, and miscellaneous tasks. Some responsibilities will include answering the phone, monitoring legislation, research, and written correspondence to groups and individuals within the 24th District. Students will gain valuable hands-on office experience in a fast-paced environment. Hours are negotiable. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. |

| Salary Range | ||
| This is an unpaid position, but college credit is available. (See your school’s Internship Coordinator for more information on how to obtain college credit) | ||
| Minimum Qualifications | ||
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous office experience and knowledge of the legislative process is a plus but not required. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. |
