| General Description | ||
The office of State Representative Fred Miller is currently looking to fill internship positions. Positions are available beginning immediately and through the fall semester. Interns would be expected to provide assistance to Representative Miller and his staff in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent services, general office management and miscellaneous tasks as necessary. Some responsibilities will include answering the phones, researching legislation, data entry and written correspondence to groups and individuals within the 31st District (Macomb County). All applicants are welcome, and students from Macomb County are encouraged to apply. |

| Minimum Qualifications | ||
|
Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills required. Previous office experience and knowledge of the Legislature and legislative process is a plus, but not required. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. |
