Republican Legislative Intern
General Description

An intern will be expected to provide assistance to Representative Pearce and members of his staff ranging in the areas of research, drafting tributes and other correspondence, answering phones, data entry, other general office duties and miscellaneous tasks.  Students will gain valuable hands-on office experience in a fast-paced environment.

 
Salary Range

This is an unpaid position.  Hours are negotiable and school credit can be arranged. 

 
Minimum Qualifications

Previous office experience and a high school diploma are required.  Knowledge of the Legislature and the legislative process is a plus but not required.  Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required along with excellent telephone and written communication skills.
